Mission Statement
We the people of God, parishioners of the churches of Our Lady of the Snows and
Blessed Junipero Serra within the Diocese of San Bernardino, will continue
the mission of Christ. Through our living out of the Gospel and being good
stewards of God's gifts, we commit ourselves to be a beacon of God's love, joy,
and peace. As ambassadors of Christ's reconciliation, we will be a living
source of solace, courage and service to all who are in need.
Christmas is a very special time of the year. It fills us with
many different emotions.
Because God loved us so much he was willing to send His son to
be one with us. This is the mystery and wonder of the incarnation,
God becoming a man. This is a truth of our faith that needs to be
part of our whole year, not just on December 25th.
The spirit of
Christmas is one of hope, peace and joy. We need to keep
Christmas in our hearts and carry it with us throughout the New Year.
I wish you a year full of Hope, Peace and Joy that the Christ child
brings to our hearts on Christmas Day. May you and your family
and friends experience Emmanuel, God with us, each day and may
He fill you with the love of God. On behalf of the whole staff here at
Our Lady of the Snows and Blessed Junipero Serra, I wish you a
very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
